TheBenchmade 15006 HUNT is an upgraded version of the highly regarded Benchmade Steep Country hunting knife, featuring a slim blade made of CPM-S30V powder steel, a santoprene handle and a thermoplastic Boltaron sheath. The main changes in the newer version: thinner blade for easier skinning, non-slip santoprene, handle, sturdy plastic sheath.Benchmade 15006 HUNT is a fixed medium size (fixed head knife) with full tang construction. Knives made from a piece of steel (full tang) are resistant to damage and breakage, so they are commonly used for heavier ones by hunters, survival and bushcraft enthusiasts and soldiers.
