The Benchmade 551SBK-S30V has a partially serrated drop-point blade with a flat grind. The black-coated blade is made of American CPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. The shape of the head, the type of grind and the quality of the steel used mean that the blade maintains excellent working sharpness for a long time and has outstanding cutting properties. The hole in the blade allows right- and left-handed people to unfold the blade comfortably with one hand.
