The HAYABUSA W-1 is one of today's most popular carp hooks, which is now available in a non-reflective matte black version. The hook is strong, thick-fleshed, but despite its thickness, it penetrates quickly into the mouths of fish because, in addition to being extremely pointed, the hook is flattened on two sides and the tip of the hook is turned outwards from about the middle of the bay. The former is important for larger carp when the hook has to be stuck on the bony, hard parts. Due to its bent "self-hooking" shape, it is not important to use a shrink tube because it is always in an optimal position. The W-1 is ideal for large lures, pellet and boilie techniques, the hook shank is long, so you can use both pinned hard and soft lures and strapped (hooked to the bay) lures.
