Unlike the coatings used in cheaper binoculars, dielectric coatings increase the reflection coefficient, resulting in a sharper, more natural image. The binoculars also use phase correction, which is responsible for increasing the contrast and optical resolution of the visible image, and an APO lens, which corrects chromatic aberration across the entire visual spectrum.Lightweight and durable bodyThe Razor UHD binoculars have a strong and lightweight magnesium alloy body, protected from external factors by a non-slip rubber armour. The optics are filled with argon, which prevents the glass from fogging in environments with high humidity or sudden temperature changes. Unlike the nitrogen most commonly used, argon is a much heavier gas, which prevents it from escaping from the inside of the scope.
