In an emulsion with water, Ballistol has a slight alkalinity (pH 8-8.5) and therefore can neutralize acids . Unlike other products of this type from leading brands, Ballistol creates a water emulsion, mixes with water and penetrates it. Then, after the water has evaporated, it remains in place and conserves. It does not gum up.
This oil shows less susceptibility to aging and loss of effectiveness compared to other technical oils available on the market, which harden over time. All this thanks to a specially developed formula that is the perfect combination of antioxidants with healing oils.
