Lansky Medium Diamond LDHMD stone with a medium gradation is used to give the edge of working sharpness and is used in the middle phase of the sharpening process. The stone is designed for Lansky sharpening systems, it can also be used as an independent whetstone. We use the 280 grit to sharpen severely dull cutting edges, usually after initial recovery using a coarse grit. Sharpening stones with diamond sprinkles are intended for sharpening blades made of hard steel with a high degree of hardening, e.g. CPM-S30V. Fits all Lansky kits. The plate is mounted in a polymer housing with an ergonomic shape, equipped with a brass threaded insert for the guide (not included). Attention! Do not use heavy pressure, water or oil when sharpening. Clean the plate in warm water with a mild detergent.
