D2 is the highest corrosion resistant carbon steel, characterized by high wear resistance, long working life and aggressive cutting.When choosing a knife made from this steel, it is advisable to obtain a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic steel stone can be very labour intensive and inefficient.The knife has a thin, usable drop point profile blade , finished with a satin finish (polishing) method which reduces glare and gives a classic appearance.The knife's good cutting properties and excellent penetration are due to the flat cutting edge with gentle curvature and strong point.Protection against blade bendingThe knife does not have the typical blockade that makes it legal in most countries of the world.
