Premium grade steel The 74 mm long blade is made of the elite CPM-S30V stainless steel . S30V powder steel by Crucible Industries is hardened to an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC, therefore it maintains high sharpness for a long time, has high mechanical strength, and is also resistant to corrosion. Due to the high content of vanadium carbides, the steel is distinguished by high toughness and abrasion resistance, as well as excellent cutting properties. The blade is covered with a layer of black Teflon, which protects the blade from minor scratches. When choosing a hard steel knife , you should get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient. Utility blade The knife has a blade with a reverse-tanto profile with a distinct false blade that reduces the weight of the blade.
