The Wek Machine Real Hunter is an electric can closing machine designed for hunters, sailors, preppers and people who are looking for a quick and efficient way to create long-term food. Preserving food to extend its shelf life was initiated by Nicolar Appert in 1831, who was the first to use glass jars and the pasteurization process for this purpose. After nearly 200 years, this method of food preservation is still practiced and most of us regularly buy canned food in the form of canned meat, fish, fruit, sauces, etc. In many homes, cans are a strategic food supply, due to their long shelf life and durability, they are used by the military, survivalists, sailors and tourists. Currently, we also pay more attention to the diet and the quality of food we eat, trying to choose wholesome products with a natural composition, free of artificial additives and harmful preservatives. The Wek Machine Real Hunter is an electric can closing machine that is used to make canning yourself based on your own recipes, ingredients and preferences. The wek machine allows you to preserve meat, fish, dishes, fruit and vegetables. Thanks to this, we can pasteurize excess food, create a stock of our favorite dishes and safely store food . Robust and precise The wek machine has a solid and stable structure , manufactured using precision cnc lathes. The head and the double-bearing rollers are made of galvanized steel , resistant to corrosion and wear. The device has a durable powder coating that is resistant to high temperatures, moisture, oils and cleaning agents. The structure includes the following elements: a polymer base, an electric motor, a closing head, a clamping lever, a head lowering lever, a main switch and an emergency switch that allows the device to be turned off immediately. The power consumption is 500 watts . Simple preparation Each Wek machine is professionally calibrated (quality control of the can seam using an optical comparator), therefore we can start producing homemade cans immediately after purchase . The first stage before starting the production of canned food is decontamination of the cans. The activity can be carried out by boiling the can in hot water or soaking it in a 2% solution of periosteal. Put the prepared insert according to your own recipes into a dry can, so that the filling level is about 1 cm below the edge of the can. Clean the edges of the can with a paper towel, then cover the can with a lid. Fast home production The advantages that distinguish the Wek machine are, above all, the ease, comfort and speed of closing the cans . After preparing the cans (filling them with an insert), we are able to preserve up to 200 cans per hour . Place the filled can on the rotating base. Using the lever, lower and press down the head. After switching on the device, the base with the can is set in a swirling motion. Closing the tinned food can be done with one smooth movement using the lever on the left side of the device. Closing may be accompanied by a characteristic squeak, which indicates the correctness of the entire process. Can sterilization The element that has the greatest impact on the durability of the prepared canned food is, of course, appropriate pasteurization. Properly preserved food can be stored for up to several years , the can retains its full flavor and is free of bacteria . The most popular and simple method that we can carry out at home is, of course, tyndalization. This process involves cooking the canned food three times (every 24 hours). Already during the first cooking, most of the bacteria that correspond to food spoilage are killed. In the second stage, we destroy the surviving bacteria, after the third stage, the food is practically sterile. On the first day of tyndalization, cook the canned food for 3 hours, on the second day for 2 hours, on the third day for 1 hour. After each cooking, the canned food should be tempered by placing it in cold water. In the process, it is important to maintain 24-hour intervals and to temper the cans after cooking.
