-Peltor CombatArms 4.1 are semi-active hearing protectors with a choice of noise attenuation levels between 16 and 28 dB.
Peltor CombatArms 4.1 are modern earplugs with a triple collar, with the possibility of blocking or opening channels through which the sound passes. Thanks to the hinged diaphragm blocking flap, the user can instantly increase noise protection. The mode switch is large enough to be conveniently operated even while wearing tactical gloves.
Unlike the ear muffs (headphones), the CombatArms 4.1 plugs are extremely light and comfortable, they do not sweat the ears and do not cause the feeling of excessive isolation. The mechanical acoustic diaphragm has a patented system to protect against impulse noise. The durable silicone construction of the plugs allows for easy hygiene, is resistant to water and moisture, and is also characterized by minimal dimensions and weight. The flexible headband additionally stabilizes the earplug.
Modes of operation:
The open modes with an average attenuation value of 16 dB are activated by pressing the "CAE" switch. It allows you to conduct conversations, we clearly hear the sounds of the environment and commands. When impulse noise occurs, the acoustic filter reduces the sound wave and thus reduces the noise level. When you turn the switch to the "3M" position, the ear canal is closed and the sound is limited.
Closed mode with an average attenuation value of 28 dB is recommended in situations of constant noise, e.g. during loud machine operation, in a military vehicle, etc. Closed conversations are not possible. The set includes 2 lines and a storage box.
