Abrasive belts with diamond dust are intended for repairing, sharpening and polishing ceramic knives. These belts should not be used for sharpening steel knives , because abraded steel particles clog the sharpener, making it useless.
The set includes one coarse-grained diamond belt with a gradation of 180 for blade repair and one fine-grained diamond belt (1500) for sharpening and polishing the edges of ceramic knives.
