TheZero Tolerance ZT 0990 is a modern folder with a skeletonized construction, which features a ball bearing CPM-20CV steel head, carbon fiber liners, liner-lock and an exposed bridge on the back.
The ZT 0990 was modeled after the legendary award-winning 0999 knife, which featured a distinctive open-back design.
Premium steel
The 83mm long blade is made of CPM-S20V powder steel hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S20V is an American "super steel" whose parameters correspond to Bohler's elite M390 stainless steel. Thanks to its high chromium content and high amount of vanadium carbides, the steel has exceptionally good corrosion and wear resistance, and very long sharpness retention. When choosing a knife made of hard highly hardened steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
The system shows the gross selling price including the currently effective VAT in Hungary.
