The Ganzo Firebird FH61-BK is a small everyday knife with a D2 tool steel blade, a comfortable opening system and a light and durable G10 laminate sheath.The usable tipped profile (flat cut) blade length is 70 mm, which allows the knife to cope with most tasks you will face in your daily activities. The blade is made of hard and durable D2 tool steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC .D2 is the most corrosion resistant carbon steel, characterized by high impact resistance, wear resistance, long working life and very aggressive and smooth cutting.Due to the high hardening degree and the chemical composition of D2 steel, sharpening must be done with a diamond sharpener.To drive the blade out with one hand, a mart flipper is used, which is convenient for right and left handed people. Transverse ribs for stable blade control and a firm grip are also used on the spine of the blade (thumb ramp) and on the liner spacer (back stop).After the blade is unfolded, the popular liner locking latch, a mechanism valued for durability and comfort of use, is used.The handle of the knife is made with a simple sheathing of lightweight G10 laminate, a material resistant to mechanical impact, high temperatures and some active chemicals.The knife weighs only 100 g, making everyday carrying comfortable and virtually unnoticeable.The profiled clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in your pocket.
