With steel tip, steel socket and rubber cap. The burnished steel tip is turned through the steel socket into the wood. The rubber cap (inner Ø 22 mm) is attached to the other end of the pole for silent stalking on stony ground. This makes the mountain stick maximally slip-proof in any ground condition.
