Fenix HM65R is a limited edition version of the new headlamp equipped with two light sources with a total flux of 1400 lumens, a USB-C charging system and a durable aluminum housing. The flashlight has a solid and damage-resistant body made of magnesium alloy, a material that resists mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions. The headlamp has a compact and lightweight design, without any seat wires, which makes the flashlight very comfortable to use and perfect for any form of outdoor activity, from cave exploring to camping and evening jogging. The main light source of the flashlight is the efficient Cree XM-L2 U2 diode, which emits a maximum current of 1000 lumens with a cool colour, recommended for all applications requiring intensity and maximum brightness. The light reflected from the flat reflector has a fairly concentrated beam with a range of up to 140 m. In addition to the long-range beam, the headlamp also includes a second, smaller XP-G2 R5 LED (neutral colour) and a collimating lens that spreads the light evenly and provides very efficient and effective homogeneous illumination at close range. Of course, the flashlight has a beam angle adjustment, which is done by tilting the entire flashlight module. The Fenix HM65R flashlight is powered by a 18650 battery (included), which can also be replaced with 2 single-use CR123 batteries. However, we recommend using the 18650 battery to guarantee full light parameters and longer flashlight operation. This model has a USB-C port that allows you to charge the battery without removing it from the device. A very functional solution if you plan to work long hours using headlamp. Thanks to the use of two buttons, operating the flashlight is very simple and convenient and most importantly, it is not necessary to remove the flashlight from the head. Each beacon is operated by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness. The long-range emitter offers 5 modes : turbo (1000 lumens), high II (600 lumens), high I (400 lumens) medium (130 lumens), low (50 lumens). The diffused light emitter has 3 modes : high (400 lumens), medium (150 lumens) and low (8 lumens). At 1000 lumens maximum mode, the flashlight will operate for up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used). Installing two LEDs at the same time gives a total flux of 1400 lumens! In the limited version of the HM65R, the controller provides a linear duty cycle, which means that in a given mode, the flashlight will operate until the battery is exhausted without the beam automatically decreasing. The Fenix HM65R flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect battery insertion. The flashlight has a high IP68 protection rating, which means it can withstand dust, heavy rain and is fully submersible in water (2 m) for up to 30 minutes. The HM65R can therefore be used successfully in all weather conditions for virtually any physical activity. The flashlight is comfortable to wear with an upgraded rubber strap on the head to drain sweat and is equipped with reflective inserts to increase visibility and safety when walking on the road or trail at night.
