The full-size blade with a length of 85 mm is made of the popular 8Cr13MoV steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC . This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use , due to corrosion resistance, good sharpness and easy sharpening , for which a pocket whetstone is enough. Functional style The blade with the utility drop profile has a BlackWash matte finish (black oxidation). Thanks to the use of a strong concave cut point and a cutting edge with a gentle curvature, the knife has good cutting properties and the blade does not get stuck in the material being cut . The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.7 mm , which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.
