The Kershaw Concierge 4020 is a very light, minimalist edc knife designed in collaboration with Russian knife master Dmitry Sinkevich, who has been making wonderful utility knives for many years.Proven steelThe narrow, 79 mm long blade is made from the popular 8Cr13MoV steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardening compared to AUS6.The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use, with corrosion resistance, good sharpness and easy sharpening with just a pocket stone.The knife has a thin, usable drop point profile blade covered with a titanium nitride ceramic coating. It offers protection against weathering, salt water, exceptional hardness, corrosion and chemical stability (it does not change colour over time).The knife's good cutting properties and excellent penetration are due to the aggressive point, high concave cut and gentle curvature of the cutting edge.Convenient to useThe blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper , a convenient solution for both right and left-handed users. Two KVT ball bearings are mounted on the blade shaft , thanks to which the blade opens very smoothly and dynamically.The ball bearing combined with a highly functional rib makes everyday use of the knife a pure pleasure.Robust and safeAfter unfolding the blade, it is securely locked in place with the liner locking mechanism. The steel block strip provides a high level of safety, its operation is very intuitive and comfortable. The reliable lock is an important element that requires the functionality and safety of the folding knife.Carrying clipThe knife can be carried discreetly in the pocket thanks to a stylishly designed clip (without the possibility of repositioning).Comfortable gripThe handle of the knife is a black G10 laminate casing . The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterised by its low weight, high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature changes and to a wide range of acids and solvents.The profiled shape of the handle, the undercut of the finger and the fine grid keep the knife very firmly in the hand and make it very comfortable to use. The handle of the knife is thin and narrow, making it practically unnoticeable when carried in an everyday pocket.
