D2 is the most corrosion resistant carbon steel, characterized by high wear resistance, long working life and aggressive cutting.When choosing a knife made of this steel, it is advisable to obtain a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic steel stone can be very labor intensive and inefficient.The wide , usable tipped profile blade has a dual surface: a stone wash on the cut and a satin finish on the top.Thanks to the strong point, the very gentle curvature of the edge and the concave cut, the blade cuts very smoothly and efficiently and has no tendency to jam in the material.The length of the unfolded knife is 197 mm and the thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a perfect compromise between the comfort of portability, everyday functionality and durability.The blade can be opened in two waysThe blade can be opened with two hands, i.e. with the serrated disc or with the "wave".
