The Kershaw Natrix 7007 is a folding knife. Featuring a modern design, fitted ball bearing, 8Cr13MoV steel blade , G10 laminate sheath and a convenient folding system, it is a flipper knife.The design of the knife is based on the popular and award-winning Zero Tolerance 0777 model, but the Natrix has a smaller and slimmer line and a much more affordable price.Everyday knifeThe blade has an optimum length of 82 mm, which is made from the popular 8Cr14MoV grade steel hardened to 57-59 HRC hardness. This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardening compared to AUS6.The 8Cr14MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use due to its corrosion resistance, good edge life and easy sharpening with just a whetstone.The usable drop point profile wide blade has a matt, polished surface (passes through grinding stones) which effectively covers any scratches or abrasions the blade may get during use.Thanks to the strong tip, the slight curvature of the edge and the flat grinding, the blade penetrates perfectly and cuts very smoothly.The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. The advantages of this solution will be appreciated by any knife user when slicing or precision cutting. A groove runs along the entire blade, which reduces weight and has a decorative feature.Convenient openingThe blade can be opened manually using the mart flipper , a convenient solution for both right and left handed users. Two KVT ball bearings are mounted on the blade shaft , making the blade very smooth and dynamic.Work safelyThe patented Sub-Frame Lock , a lighter version of the proven locking frame mechanism, effectively protects the blade against accidental bending.
