This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardness compared to AUS6.The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use thanks to its corrosion resistance, good durability and easy sharpening. A blade stone is sufficient for daily use.Efficient bladeThe element that undoubtedly attracts attention is the original shape of the blade. It has a notched groove that allows a stable support of the thumb.The knife has a good cutting and above-average pruning ability, thanks to the flat grinding, the fine curvature of the cutting edge and the strong tip. The blade is coated with a grey PVD thermal abrasion resistant coating , which protects the blade from scratches and reinforces its hardness.Les Georg's contribution to the design of the knife is subtly emphasised by the unique additions , which are the non-standard handle and the spindle-patterned lower and upper rim of the handle.Convenient useThe blade can be quickly opened with one hand using a mart flipper, it is sufficient to press the flipper firmly and the knife is ready for use. This simple solution is convenient for both right and left-handed users and allows the knife to be used comfortably with gloves on.Mechanism to assist blade openingThe knife is opened with the SpeedSafe opening mechanism. When the flipper is pressed, the holder activates an internal spring that dynamically opens the blade, making the knife ready for use in a split second.Robust lockThe monolithic frame lock blockade, considered one of the most durable locking mechanisms, effectively protects against accidental blade bending. The lock, like the flipper, can be operated with one hand.Carrying clipCarrying the knife in a discreet pocket is possible thanks to the high fixed (non-adjustable) clip. The tongs are fixed from above, so that when the knife is pulled out of the pocket it does not get caught on the screws, which are usually located under the clasps.
