This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardening compared to AUS6.The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use , due to its corrosion resistance, good sharpness and easy sharpening with just a single whetstone.Efficient cuttingThe blade has a slim spearhead profile with a pointed tip, a pronounced edge with a ground blade back and a raised spine. The blade is protected by a black oxide coating, which partially protects the blade from scratching and corrosion.Thanks to the sharp point, the concave cut and the almost straight cutting edge, the knife provides excellent penetration and good cutting properties. The spine has deep transverse grooves that allow a stable support of the thumb during cutting. The operation is very natural and simple, and allows the knife to be opened and used comfortably by right- and left-handed people.Blade opening support mechanismThe opening process is assisted by the SpeedSafe support mechanism. When you press the flipper, the opening mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically opens the blade, making the knife ready for use in a split second.Steel blade lockOn opening the blade, it is securely locked in place by the insert locking mechanism. The reliable lock is an important element for the functionality and safety of the folding knife.Tactical handleThe knife has a straight sheath made of polyamide, i.e. nylon reinforced with glass fibre . The profiled handle with non-slip texture and the flipper as a hand guard "hold" the knife very firmly and safely in the hand.An element that will attract the attention of all knife enthusiasts is the rear stop that protrudes from the handle (spacer) , in which transverse grooves have been cut to improve grip.Steel reinforcing inserts, to which polyamide liners are attached, are responsible for the rigidity and strength of the knife.
