The Kershaw Volt II 3650CKTST is the successor to the classic EDC knife designed by the legendary RJ Martin. Proven steel The Kershaw Volt II was created for everyday use and outdoor use , which is clearly emphasized by its optimal size, solid construction and typically functional style . The 82 mm long blade is made of the popular 8Cr13MoV steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC . This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use, due to corrosion resistance, good sharpness and ease of sharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is enough. Utility blade The slender blade with a useful drop-point profile is covered with a layer of black oxide , which partially protects the blade from scratches and gives a tactical look. Thanks to the use of a strong point, a concave grind and a cutting edge with a gentle curvature, the knife has good cutting properties and the blade does not get stuck in the cut material . The knife has additional functionality thanks to the use of a partially serrated blade . Aggressive teeth are great at cutting hard, fibrous materials, e.g. ropes, nylon webbing, clothing and bones. The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. On the raised back of the blade, transverse cutters were cut, intended for stable finger support during work. Comfort of use The blade can be quickly unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper , just press the fin vigorously and the knife is ready to work. This simple solution is convenient for both right and left-handed users, it also allows for convenient operation of the knife with gloves.
