The knife holder is made of bright red plastic, making it visible and easy to find. In addition, a sheath is fitted in the holder which allows the knife to be attached to a belt, trouser leg or other equipment. The blade of the knife is made of Sandvick 12C27 stainless steel and the serrated blade of the knife handles cutlery or clothing effectively. In addition, the tip of the knife has been rounded to reduce the risk of injury to the rescued person.The handle of the Mora Companion Rescue knife is made of plastic and rubber-coated, which allows the knife to fit firmly in the hand, even when wearing gloves.
