Morakniv Fire Starter is a high-performance ferrocerium tinder that works in all weather conditions.
The rod of 8 mm thickness made of ferrocerium synthetic pyrophoric alloy which, after impact of hot sparks, attaining temperatures up 3000 ° C .
Tinder works even when wet, in rain, snowfall, at any altitude and latitude. A solid bar allows for approximately 7,000 chairlifts.
In an emergency, the caloric sparks of flints can be used to call for help, and in everyday use also to light the gas grill.
The grip is made of a polymer with non-slip texture. It is recommended to use the back of the knife for striking, not its cutting edge. The outer protective coating must be removed for proper operation.TECHNICAL DATA
