The Morakniv Tactical SRT is a black solid outdoor knife with a partially serrated stainless steel Sandvik 12C27 blade , comfortable profiled handle and Molle polymer sheath.The Tactical SRT is a fixed blade (hidden tang) field knife with a thickness of 3.2 mm and a length of 109 mm, allowing it to perform most tasks you may encounter while hiking or living in the woods.The blade is partially serrated, allowing it to cut hard and fibrous materials such as roots, ropes and belts efficiently. The teeth are positioned close to the handle so that you can work with both a smooth and serrated edge.The knife blade is made of valuable Sandvik 12C27 steel, hardened in the 56-58 HRC range.This Swedish stainless steel has low impurity, high resistance to corrosion and chipping, and a fine carbide structure that ensures very aggressive and efficient cutting and cutting edge strength.The entire blade is coated with a protective DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. This diamond-like abrasion resistant coating increases wear and corrosion resistance, reduces friction and provides a smoother cut.Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel is virtually maintenance free except for dry wiping after washing or use in a damp environment.Scandinavian grinding ensures high durability , long-lasting working life and easy sharpening in field conditions.The blade's flat back has a sharp edge designed for use with flint.The knife handle is made of soft TPE rubber with a non-slip texture.
