Benchmade is one of the most recognizable knife brands in the world. It was founded in 1988 in California. The handle linings are made of a thermoplastic material called Valox, which is additionally reinforced with steel liners made of 420J steel. The handle has profiled cuts that increase safety and ergonomics when using the knife. The knife comes with a removable clip. The lock used is the popular "axis lock", which has been improved by equipping it with an additional spring that supports quick opening.
