This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6.The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is perfect for everyday use thanks to its corrosion resistance, good sharpness and easy sharpening, for which a pocket stone is sufficient.Functional bladeThe robust, usable drop-point profile blade is coated with titanium nitride ceramic for protection against the elements, salt water, exceptional hardness, corrosion resistance and chemical stability (no colour change over time).Thanks to the strong point, concave cutting and fine curved cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties and the blade does not get caught in the material being cut.The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.8 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. The transversal milling grooves on the spine of the blade allow for stable support of the fingers during work.Comfort of useThe blade can be extended with one hand in two ways : by means of a mart frog foot or by means of a double-sided pin, allowing you to choose the method you prefer.Both solutions are comfortable for both right- and left-handed users and allow for comfortable handling in gloves.When you press down the flipper fin or extend the pin, the support mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically extends the blade, so the knife is ready for use in a split second.Robust lockThe monolithic frame lock, considered to be one of the most durable locking mechanisms, effectively protects the blade from accidental retraction. The lock strap has a buffer that prevents it from deforming and slipping too far.
