Thanks to the high content of chromium and a large amount of vanadium carbides, it is characterized by exceptionally good resistance to corrosion and wear, and a very long retention of sharpness . When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, because sharpening using a standard ceramic whetstone can be very laborious and ineffective. The wide blade with a useful drop-point profile has a matte stonewashed finish, which effectively masks scratches on the blade and abrasions that occur during work. Thanks to the use of a strong tip and a flat grind, the blade penetrates perfectly and provides very good cutting properties.
