Zero Tolerance ZT 0770CF is a smaller version of the iconic ZT 0777 knife, which uses a CPM-S35VN powder steel blade , a SpeedSafe blade unfolding mechanism and ultra-light carbon fiber linings . Zero Tolerance ZT 0770CF is a functional, very light and stylish knife for everyday use, based on the award-winning ZT 0777 model. American powder steel The knife has a 82 mm long blade made of American CPM-S35VN powder steel . This grade of stainless steel is characterized by high impact strength ( hardening 58-60 HRC ), resistance to wear and corrosion, and extremely long retention of sharpness . Unlike its predecessor, the CPM-S30V, the CPM-S35VN sharpens much easier due to the finer grain of the steel and the admixture of niobium. However, due to the high hardening and impact strength of the CPM-S35VN steel, we recommend using diamond sharpening stones for sharpening. The stonewashed finish of the blade makes any scratches or wear to the blade virtually invisible. Functional drop-point blade The useful drop-point profile , flat grind and perfectly ground cutting edge with a gentle curvature ensure a very efficient and smooth cut . The blade ends with a strong point, with high mechanical resistance. The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which guarantees adequate durability and functionality in everyday work . On the raised back of the blade, transverse cutters (ramp) are made, which allow for a stable support of the thumb or index finger. Comfortable unfolding The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper , a convenient solution for both right and left-handed users. The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe assist mechanism .
