Zero Tolerance ZT Sinkevich 0450CF is a sophisticated "gentleman folder" knife , equipped with a bearing CPM-35VN steel blade , titanium and carbon fiber cladding and a convenient flipper folding system. Zero Tolerance ZT 0450 is one of the most successful fruits of cooperation between Zero Tolerance and Belarusian designer Dmitry Sinkevich, who initiated a series of designer, highly functional everyday knives made of the highest quality materials. American stainless steel The 82 mm long blade was made of American CPM-S35VN powder steel . This grade of stainless steel is characterized by high impact strength (hardening 58-60 HRC), resistance to wear and corrosion, and extremely long retention of sharpness . Unlike its predecessor, the CPM-S30V, the CPM-S35VN sharpens much easier due to the finer grain of the steel and the admixture of niobium. However, due to the high hardening and impact strength of the CPM-S35VN steel, we recommend using diamond sharpening stones for sharpening. The blade has been protected with a black abrasion-resistant DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, which reduces steel wear and prevents corrosion. Thanks to the use of a strong tip, gentle curvature of the edge and a flat grind, the blade penetrates perfectly and provides very good cutting properties . The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. On the back of the blade there are transverse milling cutters that create a very stable place of support for the thumb or index finger. The advantages of this solution will be appreciated by every knife user during planing or precise cutting. Rapid unfolding of the blade The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper , a convenient solution for both right and left-handed users. KVT ball bearings have been installed on the axis of the blade, thanks to which the blade works very smoothly and dynamically, making everyday use of the knife a pure pleasure. Work safety A monolithic frame-lock equipped with a hardened steel insert, preventing the wear of titanium, effectively protects against accidental folding of the blade. Frame-lock is a solid lock considered to be one of the most durable locking mechanisms, characterized by resistance to dirt and very comfortable operation. Modern materials The knife has profiled linings made of the highest quality materials, i.e. titanium and carbon fiber . Titanium is characterized by low weight, total resistance to corrosion, mechanical damage, it is not sensitive to high temperatures, acids and sea water. Carbon fiber is an extremely light and durable material, which undoubtedly gives the knife a prestigious look. The elegant character of the knife is emphasized by polished spacer sleeves, effectively anodized in emerald green. Reversible clip Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is possible thanks to the high-mounted clip with the possibility of mounting on both sides of the handle . On the handle, in addition to the clip, there is also a hole for attaching a decorative braid or a safety line.
