Firebird Ax FSA02-YE is a tourist hatchet equipped with a wood saw and flint useful in the field.
In the field or while camping, we most often need a solid knife and an ax or a wood saw. The new Firebird hatchet combines these two functions in one lightweight and handy tool.
The ax head is made of budget 3CR13 stainless steel, hardened to 52 HRC , very well suited for outdoor tools. The 135 mm rounded blade is great for both cutting and chopping.
The functionality of the ax significantly increases the hammer, useful in the workshop and camp work. The ax handle is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon and covered with a textured rubber coating in the grip part.
Inside the ax grip there is a detachable wood saw , which we lock with a solid screw once attached. The set includes a small iron-cerium alloy flint , which in an emergency is an invaluable help when starting a fire.
The ax is carried on the belt with a polymer case in a distinctive yellow color that facilitates quick location of the tool.
