When the safe level of 82 dB is exceeded, the electronic system switches off the microphones and the noise is suppressed. The earplugs provide perfect protection from harmful impulse noise while ensuring very clear and crisp hearing of surrounding sounds, conversations and commands.The Peltor ProTac Shooter amplifies sounds below 82 dB, allowing you to hear much better with earplugs. A big advantage is the ability to adjust the volume of the sounds and conversations you hear, making it easier to maintain proper concentration, for example during precision shooting. The advanced electronic system eliminates the banging that occurs with most other shooting protectors on the market.The Peltor ProTac Shooter is equipped with a smooth sound reproduction system that prevents sudden drops in sound levels.The protectors are powered by two AA batteries (mounted in a single pot) that provide up to 100 hours of operation. The automatic battery saving mode switches the protection elements off after 4 hours in inactive mode. The electronic system remembers the last volume settings and informs you when the battery is low.Activation and volume adjustment is done by 3 large buttons. The Peltor ProTac Shooter has an audio input that allows you to connect an external device such as a smartphone, mp3 or pmr walkie-talkie.The lower part of the canopy is profiled so the guards do not interfere with the shot.
