TheKershaw Random Leek 1660R is a compact everyday knife that features a Swedish 14C28N steel blade, a blade assist mechanism and the proven frame-lock. Lightweight and handy design The Kershaw Leek was created with everyday use in mind, which is clearly emphasized by its small size, lightweight construction and typically functional style. The 76mm long blade is made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. Due to the high purity of the alloy, 14C28N steel is distinguished by its high hardness, corrosion resistance and, importantly for the user, long retention of working sharpness. The slim blade with an aggressive wharncliffe profile has a uniform matte sandblasted finish. Thanks to the use of a narrow stab, concave grind and a cutting edge with an almost straight line, the knife has excellent cutting properties, and the blade does not wedge in the material. The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.
