Due to the high purity of the alloy, 14C28N steel is distinguished by its high hardness, resistance to corrosion and, importantly for the user, long-lasting sharpness. The back profile and the flat grinding provide very good cutting properties and high penetration. The finger cut-out ( finger separator ) on the underside of the blade facilitates precise guiding of the knife.The blade can be opened with one hand by means of a double-sided pin, which makes it easy for right and left-handed people to operate comfortably. The blade shaft has ball bearings to ensure smooth and easy operation of the blade.The knife has two locks, a standard liner-lock and an additional ThumbUp mechanism that acts as a main lock safety.
