The Ruike M195 is a full-size rescue knife that uses a partially serrated carbon steel D2 blade , profiled G10 laminate cladding, and the typical rescue tools in the form of a seatbelt cutting blade and an emergency glass breaker . Premium carbon steel The 108 mm long blade is made of D2 hard tool steel hardened to 60-61 HRC . D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel, which is characterized by high abrasion resistance, long maintenance of working sharpness and aggressive cutting. The blade is finished with the stonewash technique (bathing in abrasive stones), which masks minor scratches and gives a modern look. When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, because sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very time-consuming and ineffective. Functional blade The massive 4.56 mm thick drop-point blade means that the knife will not fail us during rescue operations and everyday work. Thanks to the use of a strong point, a concave cut and a clearly rounded cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties, and its sharpening is a problem. To increase the functionality of the knife, the rear part of the cutting edge is serrated. The combo blade is especially useful when cutting hard and fibrous materials such as belts, ropes and tapes. Comfort of use The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand using the elliptical cutout in the blade. This solution is convenient for right and left-handed people and allows the knife to be operated with gloves. Double blade lock Two locks, a monolithic frame lock and an additional Beta Plus mechanism , which protects against accidental folding of the blade and prevents excessive deflection of the framelock strip, are responsible for work safety. Ergonomic grip Knife linings are made of G-10 laminate and stainless steel (framelock) . A wide grip, profiled cutouts for fingers and fine texturing make the knife perfectly stable and comfortable in the hand. Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is possible thanks to the high-mounted clip, with the possibility of mounting in 2 positions (right / left). Rescue accessories The knife is equipped with professional rescue tools in the form of a glass breaker (tungsten carbide tip) and a multi-functional cutter that allows you to quickly cut clothing, seat belts and rope.
