The Kizer Splinter Ki3457A2 is an elegant "gentleman's knife" folding knife made of modern premium materials, namely titanium and CPM-S35VN carbon steel.The gentleman's knife is a lightweight tool for everyday use, characterized by a sophisticated design, high quality craftsmanship and small size for discreet portability.The narrow, 86 mm long blade is made of American CPM-S35VN carbon steel. This grade of stainless steel is characterised by high hardness (hardness: 58-60 HRC), strength, wear and corrosion resistance and long life. Unlike its predecessor (CPM-S30V), the CPM-S35VN is much easier to sharpen due to its finer grain structure and the addition of niobium.Sandblasted knife with a drop point profile and flat cutting edge, ensuring high blade strength and very good cutting parameters. Using ball bearings, the blade runs very smoothly and effortlessly. The blade is opened in a flipper fashion , which is an optimal solution allowing comfortable use of the knife by right and left handed people. The knife inserts are made of lightweight 6Al4V titanium, which has undergone a 3D treatment to improve grip, giving it a distinctive scaly texture.
