Once the safe level of 85dB is exceeded, the electronic system simultaneously switches off the microphones and suppresses the noise. The earplugs provide precise protection against noise from harmful impulses, while ensuring very clear and crisp hearing of surrounding sounds.Peltor SportTac amplifies sounds below 85 dB, so you can hear better with the earplugs than without them. A great advantage is that you can adjust the volume of the sounds and conversations you hear, depending on your needs and situation. Peltor SportTac is equipped with a smooth sound reproduction system that prevents a sudden drop in the level of sound you hear. The protectors are powered by two AA batteries (mounted in a single pot), which provide up to 600 hours of operation. The automatic battery saving mode switches the protection elements off after two hours if there is no activity. The electronic system remembers the last volume settings and informs you when the battery is low .Activation and volume adjustment is done by 3 large buttons.
