Due to its wear and corrosion resistance, good sharpness and easy sharpening, the blade is made of 420HC steel, perfect for the field. The blade is coated with a durable Cerakote ceramic coating that protects the steel from weathering, wood chips and corrosion.Armoured constructionThe Gerber Strongarm FE is a fixed blade and full tang shaft knife, which means the tool is made from a single piece of steel. Such a construction combined with a 4.8 mm thick head ensures the durability and strength of the tool, making the Gerber Strongarm suitable for wood chopping, stripping and curling.Solid bladeThe 124 working length smooth blade has a usable drop point profile and a high, flat cut with good cutting properties and high durability. The blade's flat spine with a 90° angle lock is perfect for working with flint, making it easier to fire.Perfect chywthe knife handle is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The non-slip texture and ergonomic shape of the material ensure a secure and comfortable grip. The double-sided cross guard prevents the hand from slipping on the blade.
