The Kizer Theta Ki4514 is a small edc knife that combines modern design with a clear geometric pattern, excellent craftsmanship, high functionality and ergonomics. The Theta is designed by Elijah Isham himself, widely recognised as one of the most sophisticated designers in the knife market.The wide 79mm blade is made from American CPM-S35VN carbon steel. This grade of stainless steel is characterized by high hardness ( hardness: 58-60 HRC ), strength, wear and corrosion resistance, and long knife life. Unlike its predecessor (CPM-S30V), CPM-S35VN is much easier to sharpen due to its finer grain structure and the addition of niobium.The robust blade with thread profile , slightly rounded cutting edge, strong scar and flat cutting ensures high resistance to damage, good cutting parameters and high utility in everyday applications.The blade can be folded in two ways, either by a notch in the blade or by a small, discreet flipper which, when opened, is completely hidden between the knife inserts.Thanks to the ball bearings on the spindle, the blade is very smooth, dynamic and light, which guarantees satisfaction in use. The built-in frame lock with steel reinforcement insert is responsible for the working protection, preventing the lock from wearing and consequently from developing play.The knife inserts are made of 6AL4V titanium, a lightweight metal with very high mechanical strength, resistant to high temperatures, corrosion, acid and seawater. The ergonomic profile of the handle and the geometric pattern milling ensure great comfort and an attractive shape.
