Duftzaun® concentrate is used to inoculate existing foam depots.Duftzaun® is a product developed in cooperation with the ADAC to reduce or prevent wildlife accidents on roads.The concentrate can be used without a gun. Duftzaun® has been used in Germany since 1990 and has become an indispensable measure for reducing accidents involving deer and red deer on many stretches of road. Positive results have even been achieved with wild boar. In the meantime, this system is also being used with equal success on numerous roads in Austria, Switzerland and Spain.30,000 km of roads in Germany have already been equipped with Duftzaun®; the result is an average reduction in accidents involving deer of 76%; in a number of proven individual cases even up to 100%.Mode of actionDuftzaun® is based on a special foam which is applied at accident blackspots. Due to the effect of UV radiation, the fine pores contained in the foam open, releasing the scent - a composition of odor components of wolf, lynx, bear and man.The sensitizing effect of Duftzaun® is based on the interaction of scent cocktail, road noise and movement of vehicles.ApplicationDuftzaun® concentrate is used to inoculate existing foam depots. To maintain the effect of the foam depots, they must be re-inoculated with concentrate at least twice a year.Spray Duftzaun® concentrate either on or with the capillary tube into the hardened foam depots. Thus the Duftzaun® works approx. 4-6 months. One can contains 500ml, i.e. the can content is sufficient for the complete, one-sided re-inoculation of a Scent Fence of approx. 500 m in double rows.flammableexclamation markUse biocidal products with care.
