The Walther FTK is an outdoor tool close to 250 mm in length that bridges the gap between the knife and machete . Armored construction The Walther FTK has a heavy-duty full tang construction, which means the knife is made from a single piece of steel. The knife has a massive 110mm long blade made of hardened 440C stainless steel . The 440C stainless steel blade is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and maintains its working sharpness for a long time. Even a novice fan of survival will be able to sharpen such steel, which is why it is an excellent choice for a knife for field work. Special blade In this model of the knife, a blade with a special profile is used, in which we can distinguish 4 working areas: a cutting edge with a gentle curvature, a hook, a serrated blade and a bottle opener. The smooth blade on the front of the blade is great for clearing and chopping wood. The serrated blade will cope with cutting fibrous and hard material, the hook will be perfect for cutting roots and branches. A groove (groove) runs along the blade, which reduces the weight and has a decorative function. Hybrid handle The handle of the knife is made of 2 materials: resistant G10 laminate (a double-sided guard that protects the hand from slipping onto the blade) and walnut wood , from which the profiled cladding is made. There is a hole in the protruding pin that allows a rope or a thong to be threaded in.
